Official announcement – Cape Paterson Aquathon postponement

The Cape Paterson Aquathon, scheduled for Sunday, 18 January 2026, has been postponed due to hazardous ocean and weather conditions.

This decision has not been made lightly and follows a careful assessment of conditions in consultation with the Lifesaving Operations Team at Cape Paterson Surf Life Saving Club.

The safety of competitors, volunteers and water safety personnel remains our highest priority.

We acknowledge the significant preparation undertaken by participants, volunteers and supporters, and sincerely thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation.

Further information, including a rescheduled event date, will be communicated as soon as possible.
