The Bass Coast Series is Victoria’s premier aquathon series with 3 iconic events. The series first started over 40 years ago with the San Remo Channel Challenge and has evolved to it’s current format with 3 key events and most recently the addition of the Little Penguin Dash for junior participants to get involved in the fun.

Whether you are chasing a personal best across the sand, teaming up with a mate for a fast-paced relay, or introducing the kids to their first beach aquathon event, the Series offers an unforgettable summer experience. All while supporting local community groups in the process.
-
The Bass Coast Series is built on the dedication of local community organisations with the Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club, Phillip Island Football Netball Club and Cape Paterson Surf Life Saving club all taking charge of an event in the series. Every event is entirely volunteer-run, with entry fees directly funding vital community services, local sports development, and life-saving beach patrol equipment.
The events are a major fundraiser for these clubs each year and money raised from participation and donation helps greatly.
